Conferences and Events
The Conferences and Events Committee is responsible for organizing and managing all events hosted by the organization. This includes conferences, workshops, seminars, and social gatherings.
Tasks:
• Plan and coordinate the logistics of events, including venue selection, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Develop event agendas and secure speakers or facilitators.
• Promote events to the membership and broader community.
• Manage event registrations and attendee communications.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Collect feedback from attendees to improve future events.

The Initiatives and Mentorship Committee oversees the development and implementation of special projects and mentorship programs. This includes identifying opportunities for new initiatives and coordinating mentorship pairings between experienced professionals and newcomers.
Tasks:
• Identify and develop new initiatives that align with the organization's mission.
• Create and manage mentorship programs, including mentor-mentee matching and support.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and mentorship programs.
• Provide resources and support to mentors and mentees.
• Organize workshops and training sessions related to professional development.
• Collaborate with other committees to integrate initiatives and mentorship into broader organizational activities.

• Communicate regularly with members to keep them informed and engaged.
• Organize welcome events and orientation sessions for new members.
• Conduct surveys to understand member needs and preferences.
